back on the training program

Yes. 7.5 weeks to go and I am finally back on the training program thanks to nagging calf injuries which prevented me from following the program in full.

My calves took nearly 12 weeks to heal. 12 weeks! nearly 3 months!

Chiro said...2 weeks....but what he meant was...2 weeks and you might be able to shuffle again. Complete recovery? Who knows how long!

Man, how I regret going overboard with my base building prior to the start of my program...
but you lose some you gain some. I am finally learning to listen to my body now...


Unrelated to my post but my Born to Run arrived in the mail today! Can't wait to read it.

  1. Finally getting back on your training program after months of recovery is good news! You must be very excited. But please be careful at all times and continue your appointment with your chiro, to make sure that you have fully recovered before going all-out in your training again. Take care!
