So I managed to drive and park at a mall in Kailua town centre. There aren't many cars around, but the sight of a car with a one-man outriggers canoe on top in a parking lot is still such a novelty for me! Today I spotted no less than 6 Kamanu Pueos (i.e. The Mercs of one-man outriggers canoes) perch onto roof of cars, and they all have different graphics on it. Amazing. Even more amazing...none of them has a flag on the rudder! Usually back home we freak out about being fined if the warning tail flag falls off by accident. Cool!
