After an exhausting day of paddling, I winded up at Buzz's for dinner. This place is situated opposite Kailua beach park, and it is a steakhouse known for its steaks and seafood. I decided to get the best of both worlds by getting a half and half of steak and scampi. It was el delicious!! The meat tasted like...meaty!! Not just a chunk of tasteless meat. The scampi (pictured...badly haha) is essentially a large prawn. A very tasty large prawn. All mains comes with a salad bar. I took the opportunity to try their pickled chillis. Its actually not that hot, rather, its a little hot, vinegery, and salty.
As for dessert, our waitstaff came over with a plate of desserts to let me choose: mint choc chip ice cream, coconut sorbet, vanilla ice cream cake.with roasted coconut.on top, and strawberry cheesecake. I picked the coconut sorbet. For a non-sorbet lover like me, I really enjoyed it. It took away all the meaty aftertaste i had from the main.
By the way their menu is really cool. Its in the form of a wooden bread serving.board. I'm guessing their menu and price don't change that often.
Anyhoo, thats all for today. Tomorrow is the last day of the camp. An amazing adventure awaits tomorrow...
