Today is our half day paddle day, where we gets to rest our overworked muscles and be ready for the tough final two days. The Lazy One was feeling restless and curious, so decided to burn off the excess energy by visiting the Crossfit gym (box) at Kailua. Crossfit Kailua is one of the three locations offered by Crossfit Oahu. They also won't charge you for crashing in their group sessions if you are a visitor and already part of a crossfit affiliate. How awesome is that?
This crossfit gym is probably one of the larger ones. It is definitely larger than my home one, and it has a much higher ceiling (4m+). It allows the advance xfitter to perform proper muscle ups. The people there are also really nice too. Not one person thinks I was odd for doing gym workouts while on vacation :). I love you guys!
The WOD (workout of the day) is:
7 backsquats or 7 squats and cleans (I did the clean because I dont know where the racks are...)
14 Ring dips
400M run
5 Rounds for time.
Have a go! If it is not challenging then it means you did not work hard enough...
The Lazy One did ok, given I just had a crazy day of paddling and I've been off xfit for two weeks...
